National Prep Advanced group is composed of divers who demonstrate they understand and embody the MHDC mission and goals, meet commitment level and who have achieved National Prep skill proficiency and progression standards. National Prep Advanced athletes, as the name suggests, are training to qualify for Nationals while using Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) as the basis for continued growth.
National Prep Advanced divers that meet the criteria for moving into the College Prep group will be extended an invitation. Athletes who do not acquire the predetermined set of skills, or chose not to accept the invite, will be given the option of training with the Varsity group, or pursuing other avenues outside the program.
Like all of our groups, National Prep Advanced divers utilize Dryland training and methods to maximize the experience and acquire skills in the appropriate progression and with the correct focus.
