Make-up practices:

Due to our increased practice offerings and members, we have changed our make-up policy as of November 1st, 2011.

We will offer two Flip School practices per month that can be used as make-ups for missed practices or facility closures.  As we now have waitlists and are approaching capacity at many of our practices, we can no longer allow athletes to attend any MHDC practice as a make-up.  This new policy will allow coaches to optimally manage those practices as well as stay within our insurance requirements.  We are purely offering these make-ups as a courtesy and you are under no obligation to use them.  
 
We will be offering make-up practices twice each month at the Flip School. Make-up days will be posted on the Calendar on this website.  If you would like to schedule a make-up, please sign up on this calendar for your preferred make-up practice.  You must register by noon on the day before the requested practice in order to attend.   Make-up practices that have no athletes registered by this deadline may not be held.  All make-ups must be conducted within four weeks of the missed practice. 

It is NOT permitted to use make-up practices in place of paying tuition.  All athletes attending make-up practices must have an active practice schedule in the month they are attending the make-up practice. 

For pool closures, since this is completely out of our control, we will always offer an altrnate practice for those affected.  We understand that the alternate location might not be as ideal as your scheduled practice, however we will always offer a practice option.  We do not refund for pool closures.  All of our facilities have annual maintenance that will cause each one of us to have to use an altrnate facility at times.  This is unavoidable however we offer these alternate locations to keep practice disruptions to a minimum and allow the divers continued training.  

All tuition payments are based on a monthly basis.  Included in this tuition in the recognition that some months have more weeks than other months.  Additionally, some months have holidays where we will not have practice.  Although the number of training days changes slightly on a monthly basis, over the course of several months this evens out.  Because of this, tuition is the same regardless of the number of weeks or holidays in a particular month.  Holidays where we may not have practice include: New Year Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and the Friday and Saturday afterwards, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

While practices cancelled due to inclement weather are considered an act of God, we will offer the ability to make these practices up through our regularly scheduled make-up classes.  To learn how to register for these classes, please visit the Make-Up Policy page on our website.
