By participating in any MHDC activities, including practices, meets and social events, all athletes and parents agree to the following policies, as well as the group specifiic polices outlined in the group contracts as well as those posted on the group pages of this website. Participation in a meet is a de-facto agreement to abide by the policies outlined below. Policies may be changed without notice. Failure to abide by these policies may result in ejection from the team.
All payment for tuition is billed using recurring billing via credit card through this website. All tuition is billed on the first of each month. If you would like to modify or cancel your training, simply log into this website and modify your training or billing information in the Manage Training section under the Members tab. If you choose to cancel or modify your membership, you must log into your account and cancel by the last day of the month in order to discontinue billing for the upcoming month. If you file a billing dispute after failing to cancel your membership, we will not offer you diving classes/services in the future. If you have a question specific to our diving policies, which you agree to upon registration, please call the office at (303) 871-0754 for assistance.
All tuition is billed on a monthly basis. Included in this tuition calculation is the recognition that some months have more weeks than other months. Additionally, some months have holidays where we will not have practice. Although the number of training days changes slightly on a monthly basis, over the course of several months this evens out. Because of this, tuition is the same regardless of the number of weeks or holidays in a particular month. Holidays where we may not have practice include: New Year Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and the Friday and Saturday afterwards, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
All committed group's (ie: contract group's) monthly payments are based on annual tuition divided into 12 monthly payments. During different parts of the year, practices offered per week vary based on the training cycle. As such, no tuition breaks will be given due to missed practices. An exception may be made in the case of serious injury or illness. All refunds (including competition group deposit refunds) will be less the non-refundable processing fee charged by our payment processor. Serious injury or illness are defined as those that take an athlete out of training completely for a minimum of several months at a time.
While practices cancelled due to inclement weather are considered an act of God, we will offer the ability to make these practices up through our regularly scheduled make-up classes. To learn how to register for these classes, please visit the Make-Up Policy page on our website.
For an up-to-date listing of practice closures, meets, and other events, please visit the Calendar page on our website under the Members tab.
In the event of external forces that cause facilities to shut down, MHDC will continue to provide services via virtual methods, no modifications to payment requirements will be provided as a result of these shutdowns.
From time to time, employees, coaches or other representatives of MHDC may take pictures or video of athletes during practices, meets and other MHDC events. MHDC reserves the right and permission to copyright and/or publish these photos and or videos. Photos or video may be used for advertising, trade, art, and/or any other lawful purpose.
Competitive groups with practice time options:
Some groups within the larger team have multiple training time options. This could be multiple training options per week or multiple training options per day. Once they have signed up for their practice and have their practice times, they must attend those practices for which they have registered for that training cycle. Divers cannot show up to other training times. Divers that arrive late to their training times will still be dismissed at the culmination of their normally scheduled practice.
Injury Policy
- If you are injured in such a way that it interferes with your training for two weeks or more, you must see a doctor.
- While an athlete is recovering from an injury, they must be receiving treatment from appropriate doctors (Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, Sports MD, Surgeon, etc.) in order to be cleared to return to practice.
- Modified workouts will be given in conjunction with following doctor’s prescribed treatments. Athletes must be actively working to become healthy in order to receive these modified workouts.
- Serious injury or illness is defined as those that take an athlete out of training completely for a minimum of several months at a time.
